What many don't know and what the various news programs don't say is that despite many commercial activities due to how the pandemic was handled (I want to clarify), they had to close, many people lost their jobs, some even committed suicide , there are also some companies that have opened new stores and some that already existed have expanded and are looking for employees.
I give concrete examples.
In Italy, for example, I did some interviews, which you can find on the YouTube channel "Pizzaitalianacademy Channel", regarding some entrepreneurs, for example from Milan and Florence, and how they continued to move forward.
In the last year many people who were left without work contacted us and turned to us to learn how to make pizza professionally, to take over pizzerias for sale at advantageous prices.
The pizzerias that were least affected by this period of stalemate and crisis were the smaller ones, especially family-run ones that already did take-out and weren't affected much by the crisis.
In Italy (coincidentally) just in this last year, a foreign chain of take-away pizzerias has landed and has opened various points of sale in Milan, taking advantage of the moment of economic crisis, and they have certainly benefited from better prices than there are at the moment to open.
Abroad requests for pizza makers have continued to arrive, from take-away pizzerias in England, the USA, France, Germany and Spain and in recent weeks even some large seated pizzerias have contacted us to request our help in finding pizza makers to be inserted in Paris, Lyon, Madrid and London.
Here too I give a concrete example: in New York, for example, they contacted us to request pizza makers for the opening of new pizzerias; from Paris the Big Mamma group contacted us to search for new pizza chefs to be included, the complete announcement and how to contact them can be found on our job site www.piajob.com
I wanted to write this because if it is true that many are in economic difficulty, some have had to close and it is also true that others have opened at the same time, or are preparing to open, and still others, even abroad, are already trying to insert new pizza makers because they are expanding.
This is because despite Covid people have not stopped eating and a good pizza even if they are eating it at home right now, they go to buy it at the pizzeria.
So if you are looking for a job as a pizza maker, don't just look under your house, and if you don't find it, don't draw generalized conclusions that are wrong. If there is no work in your area there are also businesses abroad looking for it and if you can't find it near your home, you could make the effort to go to work even far away for a while until things improve here.
If you are not the one who goes looking for work, it will certainly not be the job that will come looking for you.
